Beauty tag!

 Hey everyone!  I know i don't usually do tag posts, but today I thought I'd make an exception.

SKINCARE -
How many times do you wash your face daily?
Twice. I first wash my face in the shower, and at night after I've removed all my makeup.

What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo)
combination.  In the winter my t-zone is dry and my cheeks are normal, in the summer my t-zone is oily and my cheeks are normal.  and there are a couple days in spring where my skin is normal...it's the weirdest thing.

What is your current facial wash?
Boscia Clear Complexion Cleanser with Botanical Blast

Do you exfoliate?
Once every few days/once every week


What brand do you use?
St. Ives Fresh Skin apricot scrub exfoliate...it's amazing!

What moisturizer do you use?
clinique 

Do you have freckles?
I have a few freckles randomly placed on my cheeks and arms...I think they're kind of cute. :) 

Do you use eye cream?
Arbonne

Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
SInce eighth grade 

Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?
no. I'm not a big pro-activ fan. 

MAKE-UP

What foundation do you use?
No foundation right now, tinted moisturizer.

How about concealer?
Dior diorskin nude hydrating perfecting concealer in 001 Ivory.

Do you know your undertone color?

I have a warm undertone

What do you think of fake eyelashes?
They're fine, i don't usually wear them though.

Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
Clearly you haven't read the post before this one mister tag ;)

What brand of mascara do you use?
benefit bad gal lash mascara

Sephora or MAC?
sephora has more variety

Do you have a MAC Pro-card?
No 

What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
MAC and sephora professional platinum brushes.
When i apply tinted moisturizer though, i use my fingers.

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
When i wear eye shadow, oui

For the face?
yepp, never skip it!

Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
Pencil on my tight line, liquid on my upper lash line :)

How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
Rarely

What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
I'm a fan. :)

Do you use mineral makeup?
no sir! 

What is your favorite lipstick?
that's a toughy.  i tend to reach for NARS dolce vita a lot though.

How about lipgloss?
I like BUXOM plumping lip gloss in destiny

What is your favorite blush to use?
  Nars deep throat

Do you buy your makeup on ebay?
No, I don't trust it.

Do you like drugstore makeup?
yeah.  It depends on the product though. 


Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets)
I don't even think they have those in Canada? :S

Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
mhm

Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
Not usually.

Name a makeup crime that you hate?
black lipstick.  I never understood that one.

Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
I prefer a neutral eye and a bright lip, or neutral eye and neutral lip.

Which celebrity always has great make up?
Kate Beckinsale. Her makeup is always very natural. 

If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use?

brow powder 

Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
Yeah, it just depends on where i'm going

Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
mehh, I look really plain.

In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
Each has their strengths and weaknesses, so I could never actually answer that. 

What do you think of Makeup??
I love it.  I think it has the power to make a person feel confident and pretty.  Although i definitely think that a person shouldn't be reliant on makeup to make them feel confident, i think it helps. I also think that it's a great creative outlet.  With makeup you can create so many different looks and come up with a unique style of your own.  For example, i don't like black lipstick, but for another person, black lipstick could be their signature look that helps them to stand out in a crowd.
