Korres high shine cherry lip gloss Review

 Hey everyone!
Imagine a lipgloss that is perfect in every way.  It's shiny, long lasting, and not sticky.  The color payoff is amazing and the scent/taste can only be described as heavenly.  Now add hydration, antioxidant protection and to top it all off, a silicone, paraben, and propylene glycol free formulation?  Well, not only have you just described the most perfect lipgloss in the world, but you've just described Korres Cherry Lip gloss.

Today, I've decided to review this lipgloss in the shades Naked Rose #22 and Red #52.  This review is going to be pretty long though because the formulation, although kind of similar, is different in each lipgloss.

From left to right:  Rose 22 unblended, then blended.
Red 52 blended, then unblended.
Color/Scent/Taste
Naked Rose 22
The only way to describe this color would be as a beautiful, juicy, peachy pink with gold glitter.  The glitter is finely milled though, so it doesn't make your lips look like a disco ball. I think i would describe the color as a cocktail of peach, pink, gold and coral.  As you can see in the photo above, it can be blended out on the lips so that it gives a sheer wash of pink over the lips, or it can be layered.  Either way, there is no way you can go over board with this particular lip shade.  If you're looking for a nice Summer lipgloss, i recommend Naked Rose.
Red 52:
Many women usually shy away from red lipsticks and lip glosses because they think that it's a little too much for the day; but i couldn't disagree more!  It's all about finding the perfect shade of subtle red and wearing it correctly.  Red 52 is the perfect mid-tone neutral red lipgloss for the woman who wants to try out red lips but doesn't want to stand out.  This color is a true red containing absolutely no glitter.  It creates a soft wash of subtle and sheer cherry red on your lips.  It brightens your lips but isn't so bold that it will draw unnecessary attention to you.

The scent and taste of these is Cherry.  No, they don't smell like a Smackers cherry lip chap, but they smell like fresh picked and washed cherries...delicious!  Not to mention these are synthetic freagrance free, so that delicious cherry scent is 100% natural.

Consistency
The consistency and texture of these lip glosses are very different.  For Naked Rose, it's a little bit thick and for Red 52 it's a little thinner.  I think that it's because the formulation for them are a little different.  Please understand that although the formulation are different, the benefits are all the same and they're both absolutely not sticky at all and very long lasting on your lips.  The glitter in Naked Rose does not stick around once the lipgloss does go away, which is an added bonus for those not into having gritty glitter stuck on your lips after your lipgloss has faded away.

Packaging
I don't have much to say about the packaging, actually.  They're very plain and understated, and the packaging is different for these particular lip glosses, but i think that the rest of the Korres Cherry glosses have the same packaging as Naked Rose 22.  They have a doe foot applicator, like MAC lipglasses for ease of application.  As you can see, the brush on Red 52 is longer and more pointed at the tip, while Naked Rose's brush is more rounded and shorter.
Benefits
Okay!  Finally we're at my favorite part of this review.  What's so great about this lip product is that not only is it pigmented and long lasting and non-sticky, but it has a couple benefits too!  This product is made with all-natural ingredients and is paraben, sulfate and synthetic fragrance free! It is made with jojoba oil, and contains Vitamins A and C which offers antioxidant protection.  It's also made with Cherry oil, which hydrates your lips.  So if you were on the rocks about this lip gloss, and not sure of you want to spend $22 on such a small tube of gloss, here's your justification:  It's a lipgloss that's actually GOOD for you!

Price
$17 US, $22 CND
This is so cheap for what you get!  Sure, the container may be on the smaller side, but if you've actually read through this review you know that this lip gloss is amazing.  Therefore, i think this price is very reasonable, some might even call it a steal!
In conclusion:
Color: 5/5
Scent/taste: 5/5
Consistency: 5/5
Packaging: 4/5
Benefit: 5/5
Price: 5/5
Total: 29/30  <-- i think that's my highest rating so far!

Honestly, these lip glosses are so much better then most of the lip glosses I've tried, so i definitely recommend picking a couple of these up.
