Revlon Super Lustrous Lip gloss Review - Pink Pop & Coral Reef

Hey there everyone!
With Summer only a month away I thought it suitable to review the Revlon Super Lustrous Lip gloss in the colors Pink Pop and Coral Reef which are both lovely colors for Summer.  I am absolutely in love with Revlon lip glosses, they are pretty much my holy grail drugstore lip glosses.  They come in a variety of wonderful colors from neutrals to fun bright colors.

 Breaking down...the formulation
These are very creamy  on the lips and have a pretty decent lasting power.  As far as pigmentation, these are very pigmented for a lip gloss but can very easily be sheered out.  Coral reef starts off as a stunning coral which can either be applied as a light wash of coral over plain lips, worn over a lipstick (like Barbarella - NARS) or built for a more opaque coral lip.  Don't be turned off by the color in the tube because once it gets on your lips it looks beautiful.  I would describe it as a sherberty peachy coral which looks stunning on tanned Summer skin.  Since coral is very in this year i would recommend purchasing this one.  Pink pop is exactly that, a pop of fuchsia pink.  It's a gorgeous color which i find myself wearing a lot.  It can be applied as sheer or built up for a sexy pink pout.  What i love about this formulation is the fact that these aren't that sticky and feel very moisturizing.  They also have SPF 15 which is great for lip protection during the hot Summer months.

Breaking down...the packaging

I love the packaging on these.  They are compact but hold a decent amount of product and they don't leak whatsoever.  I've had these in my purse and in my book bag for days on end without taking them out and i have never experienced leakage.  My favorite thing about the packaging is the fact that they look like a smaller version of a Chanel lipgloss, I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, but I'm definitely not complaining!  They're so beautiful and understated which makes the lipgloss look more appealing.
Comparison -->

All together i rate this...
formulation: 4.5/5
pigmentation: 5.5
packaging: 5/5
lasting power: 4.5/5
color selection: 5/5
quality of product over all: 24/25
I love these lippies.  the color selection is fantastic, and they're great quality.  I actually find the pigmentation and formulation in these better then in some high quality lip glosses.  I highly recommend picking one or two of these up at your local drugstore/Ulta/Walmart/Target especially Coral Reef!

  1. Really? I completely disagree. I hate these glosses. I'd much rather spend 40 bucks on one lip gloss then 10 bucks on these. Just saying...
