Hey Everyone,
I've decided to start a Prom themed series on my blog this month. This series will feature prom looks for different styles, as well as tutorials, tips & tricks and beauty rescue posts! I'm actually so excited to start this series! As you all know, i'm getting ready to attend my own prom this year, so you will all be able to follow me on my journey from getting the perfect dress (check!) to choosing some fabulous accessories. I'm also doing my friend's makeup for prom which is super duper exciting!!! So i'll post a tutorial for the look I create for her.
I decided to start this series with a prom look for the flirty and feminine girl, and it is based off of my prom dress from La Femme! The dress itself is a beautiful baby pink colour. It's the kind of dress that you can dance around in and have tons of fun.
The dress is definitely a statement piece in itself, so I paired it with dangly diamond earrings to add some bling on top and balance out the jeweled belt. The shoes are silver peep-toe platform pumps and look gorgeous with this dress! I paired the dress with a plain silver clutch with a little bit of ruching and rhinestone details. This is the kind of dress that would look fabulous with a french manicure and OPI Sweetheart on the toes. Of course, a fun and flirty ensemble needs a flirtatious and feminine scent, which is why I chose Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy.
I thought this was a nice way to start this series, and I can't wait for you gorgeous girls to see more!
What do you think of my first Prom Look?

Love this!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! That clutch is amazing and if it was black I would order it right now without a second though! I remember swatching that shade of TT Sparklicity when I was at Sephora. The one I ended up getting looks white in the packaging but gives off more of a green/blue glitter vibe. I also remember nearly falling off my chair when my consultant swatched them for me XD They're definitely worth the money!
ReplyDeleteThank you ladies!

I love the feathered skirt on that dress. So fun for dancing!
