OOTD: Let The Good Times Roll...


Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone,
Yesterday was such a beautiful day; warm (bordering hot, actually) and sunny and so different from the harsh wind and freezing temperatures i've become accustomed to.  Yesterday being the last weekday of March Break, I planned to hang out with a blogger friend of mine, and we thought, what better than go out for some ice cream?

By the way, one of my best friends is going through open heart surgery today, so it would mean the world to both myself and her family if you could keep her in your prayers.  Thank You♥

My flats got all dusty from the rocks :(
I decided that since it was so warm i wanted to wear a crop top (I really hope that isn't too revealing for the internet.. /: ).  I actually got this particular crop top back in the beginning of September, but had never worn it before, so I thought yesterday would be a great day to pull it out!   Of course, unless you're on the beach, you shouldn't show too much skin, so I paired this AE crop with a pair of jeggings, and red flats which matched the little flowers on my top.  I accessorized with a simply gold ring, this adorable little vanity necklace, and my favourite wristlet from coach.

We decided to take a walk to the ice cream store, which was great.  I feel like since I have a license i tend to drive everywhere to save time, even places where I could easily walk.  It felt great to get out in the fresh air and take a leisurely walk.  I was able to notice more and appreciate everything a little more, plus walking is great exercise!  After our ice cream cones - Which were both delicious!  I went with that months specialty flavour - passionfruit and orange, i believe? Anyway, it was fabulous! - we just hung out for a while.  All in all, it was a great day!
