Lancôme 'Electric Pink' La Laque Fever review

Lancôme’s La Laque Fever is described as a long lasting, full color lip shine that lasts on your lips for 6 whole hours before needing to be touched up.  These lip shines come in 15 beautiful shades, but today I’m going to be reviewing the bright, sparkly delight that is ‘Electric Pink’.  

The name says it all with this shade.  It is an absolutely dazzling ‘electric’ darkened fuchsia pink with a crazy amount of iridescent fuchsia micro-glitter.  I tend to reach for this lip gloss more in the summer or when I’m going out to parties because it’s just a color that screams ‘carefree fun’ to me and is perfect to dancing around and hanging out on the beach!

 This lip gloss is very pigmented and kind of acts like a lip stain and sparkly lip gloss in one.   As for Lancôme’s claim that you can wear this for up to 6 hours without touch ups…that’s not exactly true.  I find that the shine wears off after 3 hours, but the color does stays for a while longer.  So, it’s very long lasting for a lip gloss, but I recommend carrying this product around in your clutch or bag for touch ups throughout the day.   

I absolutely love the packaging on the Lancôme La Laque Fever glosses!  It’s very sleek and sophisticated looking.  The brush is very interesting.  It’s in the shape of a tear drop for a more precise application.    

  

This product retail for $26.50 US and $32 CND.  Yes, it is very expensive for a lip gloss, but this particular lip gloss is more opaque and long lasting than the majority of the lip glosses I’ve tried.  Just a warning, some of these lip glosses are quite sheer and maybe not worth the money, so I recommend going into Sephora or to your local Lancôme counter and swatching them.    Electric Pink is a beautiful shade and I definitely do not regret purchasing it.
