Benefit 'The POREfessional' Review

Hey Everyone!
Benefit ‘The POREfessional’ is a balm formulated to reduce the size of pores.  This balm is oil-free, lightweight, and translucent and can be applied over or under makeup.  Benefit recommends patting it over your t-zone and lightly blending it.

The POREfessional contains a mixture of silicone's which help to fill in pores and give your skin a beautiful silky finish. My pores aren’t that large to begin with, but this product does make them appear even smaller and makes my t-zone look smoother and softer, as well the POREfessional mattifies any area of my face in which it is applied.   At first, this little guy really helps to perfect my t-zone, but about 3 hours into the day I find that I need to reapply.  My face gets oily throughout the day, and it seems like the oil just melts away the product and its effects.  I feel like it would be better suited for someone with normal-dry skin and less so for people with oily skin.

The packaging on this, like all benefit products, is gorgeous!  It’s a squeeze tube so you’ll be able to get every little bit of product out of the tube, and there is .75 fl. Oz. of product in each tube.   This product retails for $28 US and $34 CND.

POREfessional unblended, than blended right next to it
I recently noticed that the areas where I apply this primer have been breaking me out, so I’m going to take a little break from the POREfessional for now and see if my break outs go away.
In conclusion, this is a pretty good primer but it definitely doesn’t deserve Holy Grail status in my opinion.

What do you think of the POREfessional?

  4. Oh, no problem Annie! I'm glad you found this review helpful! By heading do you mean the misscouture17 at the top? If so, there are many different ways to do it, but I downloaded a white background and uploaded it to picnik.com, i then found a really cute font and wrote my blog name on it, and uploaded the little kiss onto it. I then played around with different colors, and re sized it about a million times and voila! It's really easy, I did the same thing for the signature that's at the bottom of every post. Thank you so much for commenting, and I hope my reply helps you out!

  8. Great review, I've been wondering about this primer for a while so I'm quite pleased I didn't end up buying it...and Benefit is pretty pricey too. I really want to invest in a Smash Box primer as I've heard such good things, have you tried?
