Prom How To: Perfume 101

Source!
 Hey Everyone,
For today's prom post I wanted to share with you all a few perfume tips as well as share a few of my personal favourite perfumes for prom.  If you have been following my prom series this month, than you've probably noticed that I include a perfume with all of my 'Prom Looks'.  Perfume, in my opinion, is a very important invisible accessory.  Perfume can completely change the overall vibe of an ensemble and give the wearer a total confidence boost.  As well, it's a strong memory trigger.  If you have a signature scent, whenever someone smells it they'll instantly think of you, whether you are there or not.  So, I think perfume is just as important as any other prom accessory and should be well thought out ahead of time.

Below i am going to share with you all a few tips for applying your perfume and share with you my top 5 perfumes for prom!

How To: Personalize your Makeup Brushes

Shown here are my painted MAC brushes, which obviously need a deep cleaning!
Hey Everyone,
I've only been collecting high end makeup brushes for a short period now, but I take pride in my brushes and I treat them like children.  That means weekly deep cleanings, daily spot cleaning, and treating them with as much care as possible.  High end brushes can cost up to $100 for one brush, and the last thing I want is to have one of my little babies accidentally wind up in another person's collection, or to be stolen.  So, how do i ensure that this won't happen?  I personalized my makeup brushes.

How to: Keep Denim From Fading

Hey everyone,
Have you  ever invested in a really cute pair of black or even medium to dark blue jeans and had to throw them out due to extreme fading? me too.  I've had a few people mention to me that after one to several wash cycles their jeans have faded from black to a kind of faded black-charcoal, or from rich dark blue to a faded kind of muddy unattractive blue.  I've experienced this with 4 pairs of jeans so far, and i finally decided that enough was enough.  So I did a little research and thought that today I'd share with you some tips and tricks for keeping your denim true to color.

NOTD: lucky lucky spender + How To: color block

 Hey everyone!
Lately I've noticed that color blocking has become the latest trend, not only for clothing, but on your nails as well.  If you don't know what color blocking is, it's basically where you paint your nails bold colors that are complimentary to each other.  Most popular is painting every nail one color and your ring finger another color.
