Satin Taupe is without a doubt one of MAC's most raved about eye shadows. After swatching it in store, I knew that I had to have it, but ultimately decided not to purchase it. I dropped a few very 'subtle' hints that I wanted it for Christmas, and ended up getting it. I am so glad I did, because Satin Taupe has very quickly become one of my all time favourite versatile eye shadow shades.

MAC Prom Princess: Review & Swatches! (Archie's Girls)
Hey everyone,
So, you have absolutely no idea how excited I was when I heard that MAC would be coming out with a Betty and Veronica makeup collection in February. Every time I'd go to the grocery store with my mom when I was younger, I would make her buy me one or two of those little Archie comic digest books. Not to mention, I never missed an episode of 'Archie's Weird Mysteries'. This collection featured two beautiful limited edition blush shades, but the one that I ultimately decided to pick up was Veronica's blush: Prom Princess, simply because it was unlike anything I had in my collection.

MAC Gently Off Eye and Lip Makeup Remover: Review & Demo!
Hey Everyone,
I bought the Gently Off Eye and Lip Makeup Remover (Retailing for $23 CND for 3.4 oz) a couple weeks ago after I ran out of my Sephora eye makeup remover. MAC describes this product as: "Oil and water do mix, for twice the impact – just shake. A dual-phase, easy-does-it formula that sweeps off even tenacious waterproof mascara and lip colour. Absolutely gentle; suitable for all. Cucumber extract soothes, Damascus Rose flower water refreshes. No need to rinse".

MAC Cultured Lipglass: Review & Swatches!
Hey Everyone,
Cultured, which retails for $14.50 US and $17.50 CND, is a beautiful opaque rose pink colour with tiny flecks of gold glitter. The glitter is very subtle on the lips but adds a gorgeous sheen. I purchased this shade in early May, and i will admit that it's actually my first MAC lip glass, and I'm very impressed with it and will definitely be going back for more! (Pink Lemonade...I have my eye on you)!

MAC Hey, Sailor! To The Beach Body Oil in Man Rays: Review & Swatches!
Hey everyone,
Today, I'm reviewing a product I got from the MAC Hey, Sailor! collection. The 'To The Beach Body Oil' in Man Rays is a super shimmery body oil which is meant to moisturize and add a beautiful sheen to the skin. This formulation was actually first released with the To The Beach collection 2 years ago and has since been re promoted to be included in the Hey, Sailor! collection. When I first saw this product at MAC I was convinced that it would be disastrous and leave me looking like I was about to head over to a rave, but I was pleasantly surprised by the results.
MAC 116 Blush Brush: Review!
Hey Everyone,
The MAC 116 blush brush retails for $32 US and $38.50 CND and was the first MAC brush I ever purchased a couple years ago. The MAC 116 is a natural-haired, tapered, rounded blush brush and can be used for blush, highlighting, contouring and I even use it for pressed powder application!

March Favourites!
Hey Everyone,
It is time for my March favourites, and I can't believe how fast March flew by. It may have been because of the March Break and how hectic everything has been for me lately but I just feel like the month just began and now it's already April. It's absolutely crazy, and I know that April will fly by just as fast. Anyway! This month for me was all about rediscovering things in my current makeup collection as well as just using the basics in the morning and really learning to use one makeup brush for multiple things instead of using like, 6 different brushes. I'm usually able to take my time in the morning with my makeup but as I learned this month, time is a luxury that I just didn't have with all the assignments and other important stuff going on. So, without further adieu and after that long rant, let's get started!

What's In My Everyday Makeup Bag 2012
Hey Everyone,
I love reading posts that other people write about what they keep in their makeup bag. I've always thought it interesting to see what makeup other bloggers use daily, and it helps me to discover new products. I go through phases with my makeup where i'll switch up my makeup and foundation routine on a weekly or even daily basis, therefore there's no need for an every day makeup bag. Lately, i've found products and a routine that I really like, so i've started using a makeup bag for my favourite products! Here is what I keep in my every day makeup bag (I've also included links for where you can buy each product) :

MAC Gingerly Blush: Review and Swatches
Hey everyone!
On my previous trips to MAC, i had never given this blush a second glance as it looked very bland in the pan, and just looked undesirable next to the more appealing-at-first-glance blushes MAC has to offer. This time around, i decided to take a leap of faith and buy Gingerly, and I am so glad i did!

February Wishlist 2012
Hey Everyone,
I figured I haven't done a monthly wishlist post in a while, so i'm going to do one for the month of February today! In Canada the weather has been 10 below 0 one day, and a beautiful 8 degrees the next- I guess I have global warming to thank for that - so my senses are all out of wack. During December and January i was really into neutral colours. Nudes, greys, silver, navy, white, and black were where it was at for me. However, the weird weather has gotten me all excited for Spring, and therefore my new love is beautiful Spring colours! So this month, a lot of things on my wishlist are brightly coloured and a little more Summery since I need to start shopping for my upcoming vacation!

How To: Personalize your Makeup Brushes
| Shown here are my painted MAC brushes, which obviously need a deep cleaning! |
I've only been collecting high end makeup brushes for a short period now, but I take pride in my brushes and I treat them like children. That means weekly deep cleanings, daily spot cleaning, and treating them with as much care as possible. High end brushes can cost up to $100 for one brush, and the last thing I want is to have one of my little babies accidentally wind up in another person's collection, or to be stolen. So, how do i ensure that this won't happen? I personalized my makeup brushes.

Black vs. White eyeliner
Hey Everyone,
Something that I've been really into lately is defining my lower water line with a nude eye liner. While applying my eye liner the other day I started thinking about the phases I've gone through with eye liner. From rimming it corner to corner with rich black pencils, to adding a little pop of color, and now my latest phase in lining, white or nude liner. Something I've noticed over the years is how black and white eye liner leave such different effects on your eyes, and today I thought i'd compare the two styles of lining for you.

GTL: Nicki Minaj
Hey Everyone!
Today's 'Get the Look' is for the iconic Nicki Minaj. I got the idea to do this particular GTL today when my friend mentioned that they intended to go as Nicki Minaj for Halloween. The look we're going for today is basically the one pictured below, which includes bright fun eyes, a bubble gum pink cheek, and bright fuchsia lips. So let's get started!
